Your private 3 days tour starts from Athens early in the morning and drive towards the scenic coastal road of Athens to the Corinth Canal. A great structure built in 1893, cuts the narrow Isthmus of Greece and connects the Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. Time for rest and have some awsome pictures above the Canal from the bridge.

Leaving the Isthmos and driving to the ancient Corinth, where St. Paul lived for almost two years making a very important misionary work. There you will visit the archaelogical site and musreum, plus the church that has the 1st Letter to the Corithians written in four languages, Greek, Arabic, French and English.

Then, the driver will take you to the Mycenae, the golden city of king Agamemnon, the one you united all the Greek cities to fight for a common purpose against Troy. There you will visit the burial Royal tombs of the kings and queens, the cyclopian walls, the Lion Gate and the treasury of Atreas.

We will go on to Nafplion, the first modern capital of Greece from 1821 till 1834. It is a seaside town with beautiful buildings and narrow streets. Nafplion has a castle, Palamidi and a front defense port fortress, Mpourtzi. A perfect place for walking and lunch.

After your lunch, we will drive you to Sparta and overnight there. Free leisure time.

Sparta is the home of the brave Spartans. Don’t be desatisfied with the place, because the Spartans invest on their military NOT in their culture, that’s why they became so fearless. They were following the “Agogi” system, training from their 7th year till their 30th age to be SOLDIERS. That was their profession !

There are some cultural structures mainly built from the Romans on the 1st century AD, when they captured the city.

You will visit the archaeological site, where was the acropolis of Sparta and have some great photos in front of king Leonidas Statue. Then , you will visit the archaeological and the oil museum. Then we drive to Mystras. Mystras was one of the last Byzintine Outposts and the place that Constantinos Palaiologos, last Byzintine emperor lived.

Situated on the mount Taygetos, near to ancient Sparta and served the capital of the Byzintine Despotate of Morea in the 14th and 15th centuries.

There you will visit the palace and the monasteries in Mystras, beggining from the Fortress Gate and endning at the Main Gate.

Now it’s time for lunch on the small village of Mystras. After that long visit, it is time to drive to Olympia, having in our minds the Glory of Sparta and the Byzantine glamour of Mystras. Overnight in Olympia.

Ancient Olympia is the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games. After your breakfast, you will visit both the site and the museum, where once was one of the seven Wonders, the statue of ivory and gold of Zeus, the king of the Gods. The Games were held every 4 years from the 8th century BC to the 4th century AD.

Time for lunch on the village and then drive back to Athens.
